Qualys Ranks #1 in Device Vulnerability Assessment Worldwide

Qualys today announced that IDC ranked Qualys as the worldwide market revenue leader for Device Vulnerability Assessment (VA) for the second consecutive year. The IDC Worldwide Security and Vulnerability Management Market for 2010-2014 and 2009 Vendor Shares(Doc.# 225988, Dec. 2010) ranks Qualys with a 14.4 percent market share in 2009, up from 13.4 percent in 2008, underscoring the rapid adoption of the QualysGuard suite- delivering IT security and compliance solutions to customers all over the world.

Qualys also increased its market share in the overall category of Vulnerability Assessment that includes both Device VA and Application VA. This year, Qualys is ranked number two with 8.3 percent market revenue share, increasing from 7.8 percent market share in 2008.
