This year at RSA Conference USA 2013, taking place February 25 – March 1 in San Francisco, Qualys opened the show with four major news announcements helping organizations more safely conduct business. QualysGuard Connector for Amazon Web Services This new connector provides customers using Amazon EC2 and Amazon VPC with continuous asset discovery and vulnerability scanning. QualysGuard Web Application Scanning 3.0 Qualys provides comprehensive web application security testing, adding malware detection and attack proxy support to provide customers and consultants with comprehensive web application security testing. New Admin Console for BrowserCheck Business Edition The free service now provides a console that IT admins can use to install BrowserCheck on employees' and contractors' computers, set up periodic automatic scans that don’t interrupt users, and view reports of the results. The new solution is available at www.qualys.com/browsercheck.
FreeScan Service Expanded The popular free service has been expanded to support scanning internal and external systems and web applications. It has also added new security and compliance audits for Patch Tuesday vulnerabilities, OWASP (Open Web Application Security Project) threats and SCAP (Security Content Automation Protocol) Configuration. This free service is available at qualys.com/secure.
